If you love the whispy and graceful foliage of Mexican Feather Grass (Nasella (stipa) tenuissima), Stipa 'Wind Whispers' (Stipa tenuissima oreophila 'Wind Whispers') has even more elegant foliage though quite taller.  This 42" high, drought tolerant grass makes a terific container plant.  It prefers well drained to dry soil in full sun.  Cannot ship to CA.
