A U.S. native clumping grass, Eragrostis spectabilis is known for its large, showy, cloudlike, purple panicles that emerge in late summer-fall. The foliage grow to 12" with overall height about 24". It does well in poor soils, and prefers moist to dry conditions.Place in full sun for best results.
