Carex dolichostachya 'Kaga Nishiki' has attractive gold-striped foliage forming 12-14” clumps. The gold striping is more subtle than Carex oshimensis ‘Evergold’.  It performs  well in shade or sun in moist soil but, unlike other sedges, is more suited to dry or dry-shady conditions.
