‘Gold Bar’ is a clump-forming grass that typically grows 4-5’ tall. Leaf blades feature distinctive horizontal yellow bands that retain good coloration throughout the growing season. Flowers appear above the foliage in autumn (early frost in northern climates may actually prevent bloom). Foliage fades to tan after frost. Prefers full sun and moist soil conditions.
