Pennisetum setaceum 'Eatons Canyon' is a dwarf version of Pennisetum setaceum ‘Rubrum’ that is only 30” high although the foliage is not quite as purple. Purple-tinted flowers to 8” long bloom continuously until fall. A warm season grass, 'Eaton Canyon' prefers moist conditions and full sun to part shade.It is not cold hardy and should be treated as an annual in zones 8 and below.
