Mostly known for its brown, cylindrical flower, this aquatic growing species is an aggressive spreader. Planted in containers, it can serve as a wonderful backdrop to a water garden. Flowers are a terrific addition to dried flower arrangements. Grows 6 - 10 ft. tall with flowers appearing July through August.
