Panicum virgatum 'Prairie Sky', a variety of Blue Switchgrass, is the most blue panicum with soft powder blue foliage that grows to 36" high. It is not as upright and sturdy as the vertical types of Blue Switchgrass, and may flop in shade or under very moist conditions. It is best grown in full sun and tolerates drought and a wide range of soils.
